Greetings, Friends:
Welcome to my newly revamped website! For those of you visiting my site for the first time, I’d like to introduce myself: I am James (Jim) Markey, Bass Trombone of the New York Phil-harmonic, Bass Trombone faculty at the Juilliard School, and Professor of Trombone at Purchase College Conservatory of Music, SUNY.
I invite you to explore my site, and hope that you find it useful, informative and, at times, entertaining. (Though I can’t guarantee a reply due to the body of e-mail I have to sort through and the limited time in which to do it, I do read each e-mail I receive.)
